Several high-ranking officials in the French Army have reportedly declared President Emanuel Macron a "traitor" for signing the UN Global Compact for Migration on behalf of France.

The army is said to be considering disciplinary action against the generals who allegedly made the comments.

According to a report by L’Opinion, a total of ten generals, a colonel, an admiral, and the former French Minister of Defence Charles Millon signed a document released on December 10th that denounced Macron's backing of the controversial United Nations migration pact in Marrakesh, Morocco.

The letter, which was published online, states: “By deciding alone to sign this pact, you would add an additional reason for a revolt with the anger of an already battered people.

"You would be guilty of a denial of democracy or treason against the nation.

“The French state is late in coming to realize the impossibility of integrating too many people, in addition to totally different cultures, who have regrouped in the last forty years in areas that no longer submit to the laws of the Republic.

“You can not decide alone to erase our civilisational landmarks and deprive us of our homeland,” the letter adds, calling for a public vote on the issue.

According to Breitbart, several of the signatories are already known for their anti-mass migration stances, including former French Foreign Legion chief General Christian Piquemal, who was stripped of military privileges after taking part in an anti-mass migration protest in Calais in 2016.

Piquemal was also seen at the Yellow Vest “Act IV” protests on December 8th giving a speech to a crowd of protesters while wearing a yellow vest. The Yellow Vest movement has protested the Macron government for weeks and, carrying on despite achieving a stoppage of the President’s “green” fuel tax increases.

Retired General André Coustou, 73, who also signed the document, evoked the theory of the “Great Replacement” coined by writer Renaud Camus, saying: “Once signed, this pact will compel our country to welcome a large number of immigrants, while it has not yet assimilated those who are already there. France will lose its Frenchness.”

Mr. Camus spoke exclusively to Breitbart London on the subject of the Yellow Vest protests late last month, describing his theory of “replacementism” and saying the protests were about “lack of respect, general exchangeability, being treated by managerial politics like an object, a simple product.”

What is the UN Global Compact for Migration?

The United Nations Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration is a new agreement between global governments.

Opening with an invocation to 17 other United Nations agreements and treaties (including the Paris Climate Accords), the document goes on to pay lip service to national sovereignty while directly attacking the same principle with demands for regulations on both the public and private sectors, and indeed restrictions on the free press who might report skeptically on migration, according to the Daily Caller.

Hidden amongst the 38 jargon-laced pages, the compact affirms the “entitlements” of migrants and refugees; including but not limited to additional job training, diaspora “trade fairs,” assistance sending money to their countries of origin, and a commitment to “educating” native communities on the benefits of multiculturalism and increased immigration.

The document insists it is based on “human rights law” and “upholds the principles of non-regression and non-discrimination.”

This means a nation-state is agreeing to not alter its own internal immigration policies after signing up to the compact.

What supranational governmental organizations call “pooling sovereignty,” and what the rest of us call “giving up sovereignty.”

The document demands migrants get the same rights as natives, immediately, including but not limited to voting rights and access to welfare.

It states that the U.N. (well, someone in an office there, anyway) will develop a “comprehensive strategy for improving migration data” but that national and local governments across the Western world will be expected to pick up the tab.

It even suggests that signatories should “invest” in such pro-migration schemes through “trade preferences” — another attack on nation-state sovereignty and government policy dictated by respective electorates (isn't this what we call this democracy?).

Curiously, the document even calls for a “civil registry” of migrants, including identification through national censuses.

When the Trump administration suggested a citizenship question on the U.S. census, the liberal media lost its collective (and it really is collective) mind.

But the U.N. wanting a global register of migrants seems fine.

The compact even calls for “biometric data-sharing.”

The truth is the globalists in governments across the Western world are devout in their mission to — as the compact says — “support multicultural activities … that will facilitate mutual understanding and appreciation of migrant cultures” and all the policy-related stuff that goes along with it.

Targeting the free press (Objective 17, 33c of the compact) is just one of the mechanisms by which they hope to get there.
