Following the two court filings on President Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen and his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, the White House has dismissed the case as the President declared himself "totally" clear.

The sentencing memo registered by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York regarding the investigation and probe into the personal business dealings of Cohen didn't include fresh or valuable information, according to Sarah Sanders, White House Press Secretary.

“The government’s filings in Mr. Cohen’s case tell us nothing of value that wasn’t already known,” Sanders said.

“Mr. Cohen has repeatedly lied, and as the prosecution has pointed out to the court, Mr. Cohen is no hero.”

Prosecutors advised that Cohen Cohen receive a “substantial” prison sentence, the memo indicates.

They also decreased his cooperation with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, declaring it “overstated.”

Cohen pleaded guilty to several counts of business and tax fraud.

He also pleaded guilty to 'excessive campaign contribution' along with false statements given to Congress regarding a Trump real estate project in Moscow about the Russia, probe.

In Manafort's court filing, Sanders maintained that it said “absolutely nothing about the President.”

“It says even less about collusion and is devoted almost entirely to lobbying-related issues,” she continued.

“Once again the media is trying to create a story where there isn’t one.”

The special counsel’s team claimed Manafort violated his plea agreement due to delivering false statements to investigators, which included contact with Trump administration officials.

“The defendant breached his plea agreement in numerous ways by lying to the FBI and Special Counsel’s Office,” the filing said.

But Manafort’s defense team discarded prosecutors’ allegations that he violated the terms of his plea deal.

Trump later Tweeted in response to the filings: “Totally clears the President. Thank you!”

Cohen’s guilty plea to initiating extravagant campaign contributions was about $130,000 hush money payment to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.

Avenatti later released a statement on behalf of him and Daniels:

“Today is yet more evidence that our efforts have brought us closer toward realizing our goal,” Avenatti tweeted.

Trump's attorney, Rudy Giuliani, said the memos are a “complete exoneration of the president.”

Despite the Office of the Special Counsel saying Manafort lied to them about his business dealings, Giuliani maintained Manafort did not tell any lies about the president.

George Conway commented on the matter, in d response to Trump’s tweet.

“Except for that little part where the US Attorney’s Office says that you directed and coordinated with Cohen to commit two felonies,” Conway replied in a tweet.

“Other than that, totally scot-free.”
