Another MS-13 gang member has been arrested by Border Patrol agents at an immigration stop in Arizona on Thursday, according to reports from officials.

Manuel Lopez-Gomez was taken into custody by border agents after he was halted on Route 93 near Wikieup, customs and Border Protection (CBP) stated in a news release.

Identified as an illegal immigrant, Lopez-Gomez was traveling accompanied by four others, three of who were determined by the federal agency.

One of the arrests included Andres Abel Garcia, a 49-year-old Mexican national.

CBP stated he was convicted of a DUI within ten years of having a prior DUI.

Group members who were identified as illegal immigrants informed immigration officials they were going to Los Angeles with the hope of living and working there.

Last month Neon Nettle reported that US border officials confirmed they had arrested a member of the notorious MS-13 street gang who was attempting to seek "asylum" in the US by traveling in the caravan

The Department of Homeland Security declared on Wednesday that the deadly criminal was arrested at Calexico Port of Entry on Saturday.

According to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection press release, 29-year-old Honduran citizen Jose Villalobos-Jobel was detained by Border Patrol agents assigned to El Centro Sector around 6:00 pm that day.

Officials confirmed that Villalobos-Jobel was apprehended while attempting to pass the border into the US, and was "intending on filing for asylum in the United States.”
