'Liberal' Antifa Member Attacks Conservative Demonstrators - Gets Instant Karma
The #HimToo rally was planned by conservative activist Haley Adams
A 19-year-old so-called "anti-fascist" Antifa member was arrested on Saturday after she punched and spat on conservative demonstrators at a #HimToo rally in Portland.
The #HimToo rally was planned by conservative activist Haley Adams to protest the victimization of men falsely accused sexual misconduct.
Of course, angry left-wing counter-protesters suddenly appeared to cause friction in an otherwise peaceful event.
Demonstrators and at least one reporter were assaulted by the Antifa members, ending in a total of six arrests.
Shocking footage (below) captured by independent journalist and Quillette Magazine editor Andy C. Ng, a young Antifa counter-protester identified as Hannah R. McClintock Portland Police Bureau, violently confront male demonstrators at the rally.
Surrounded by the bellowing chants of "We believe survivors" of her Antifa activists, McClintock posies herself into fighting position as she spits on demonstrators and yells "b****" repeatedly.
McClintock then goes on to physically assault the male demonstrators.
#HimToo activists are heard advising fellow protesters not to fight back and to "calm down."
"Let it happen, let it happen," says one of the protesters. "Don't touch her. Let her attack us, let her attack us."
According to the DW: Apparently failing to elicit the reaction she wants, the aggressive Antifa female continues with her antics. McClintock repeatedly gets in the men's faces and spits on them yet again.
Hannah McClintock, the woman in yellow with #antifa, repeatedly spit at a man & hurled punches at him. I had witnessed her trying to fight people over & over. She was one among six people who were arrested. pic.twitter.com/jWtX2wahw8— Andy C. Ngo (@MrAndyNgo) November 18, 2018
"It's all good, it's all good," a #HimToo protester says calmly in response. "Let her spit. It's all good."
McClintock assaults a #HimToo protester once again before a swarm of Portland officers take her away.
"McClintock was arrested near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Taylor Street. McClintock was lodged at the Multnomah County Jail on a charge of Harassment," says a press release from the Portland Police Bureau.
"The Portland Police Bureau spent considerable time planning for today's demonstration and counter-demonstration," Chief Danielle Outlaw said.
"We used significant resources and attempted to keep opposing groups apart, both when they were in the parks and as they traveled through downtown. Our goal was to keep all people in the community safe."
"The Police Bureau is aware that several instances of criminal behavior were filmed and broadcast on a various media platforms," reads the press release from the bureau.
"These crimes may include but are not limited to Disorderly Conduct, Assault, Theft, and Reckless Burning. Investigators will be conducting follow-up which may lead to arrests at a later time."
"If you were the victim of a crime during this protest event, you are encouraged to file a police report," adds the bureau.
At least one reporter was victimized by Antifa at the rally.
"I was assaulted by a mob of masked individuals in black. They also targeted my equipment. They called me a fascist & Islamophobe. They said my parents & grandparents would be ashamed of me," said Ngo.
"It feels surreal to be treated this way by people who don’t even know me."
