Texas Election Officials Caught on Video Helping Non-Citizens Vote Illegally
Poll worker argues 'we get tons of DACA voters' during undercover sting operation

An undercover sting operation has caught election polling center officials admitting, on a secret video recording, to helping non-citizens vote in the midterms and encouraging voters to choose Democrat candidates because they're "better."
James O'Keefe's Project Veritas released the video on Tuesday that shows poll workers at a polling station in Travis County, Texas saying that they've had "tons" of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients voting in the election.

DACA recipients are not able to vote in the state’s midterm elections because of their undocumented status.
An estimated 690,000 DACA recipients that were brought to the U.S. illegally by their parents are protected from deportation and are allowed to work but are only granted temporary asylum making it illegal for them to vote in elections.
In the Texas election for U.S. Senate, failed Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke said he supports granting DACA recipients a pathway to U.S. citizenship, while U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz previously said he was in favor of President Donald Trump ending the Obama-era DACA policy.

According to The Daily Wire, Project Veritas' undercover journalist, posing as the girlfriend of a potential DACA voter, visited a polling station in Travis County, Texas to ask election officials if he could vote.
"If he has his ID that’s all he needs. If he’s registered," an election worker told the undercover journalist.
"Right. It doesn’t matter that he’s not a citizen?" the PV journalist replied, adding that she had heard on the internet that he could not vote.
"No, Don’t pay any attention to that. Bring him up here," the official said.
Another woman, who appeared to be an election official, said that there was not an issue with DACA recipients voting, saying, "we got a lot of 'em."
"You've got a lot of them?" the journalist asked.
"Mmhmm," the woman replied.
"From early voter. We've got tons of them. Tons of DACA voters. Okay."

Meanwhile, in New Jersey
Shortly after making the Texas video public, Project Veritas released a second undercover sting recording on Tuesday, this time from a polling station in New Jersey that appears to show poll workers encouraging people to vote a certain way.
At one point in the video, poll worker Corrine Haynes appears to suggest to Project Veritas' undercover journalist that she should vote in a certain way for a ballot measure pertaining to whether school officials are appointed or elected.
"So, at the end of the vote, it's what school type you want," Haynes said.
"Type 1 is appointed. Type 2 is elected. Elected, of course, because this is a democracy."
"We have elected and we want elected," Haynes continued.
"Elected is good. Type 2 at the bottom."
When the journalist later seeks to clarify Haynes' comments, Haynes replied:
"We want democracy. That's what Democracy look like. Elected."

Haynes later appeared to suggest that it was "absolutely" better if the undercover journalist voted for Democratic Senator Bob Menendez over Republican challenger Bob Hugin.
Another poll worker, Tyrese Wicker, told the undercover journalist that Menendez was "better" than his opponent.
