Obama Attacks Trump on Immigrant Kids ‘in Pens,' Forgets He Built the Pens
Obama slams Trump administration for detaining minors who enter the country illegally

Former President Barack Obama has been pointing the finger once again, this time in a random rant about conservatives that wasn't thought through.
Looking disheveled, Obama brought up the issue of the migrant caravan before going on to attack the Trump administration for detaining minors who enter the country illegally.
There's just one problem.
Obama was the president who began “putting them in pens,” not Trump.
Barack Obama: "I'd like to think there are compassionate conservatives out there who think there's nothing compassionate about ripping immigrant children from the arms of their mothers at the border and putting them in pens."
“I’d like to think there are compassionate conservatives out there who think there’s nothing compassionate about ripping immigrant children from the arms of their mothers at the border and putting them in pens,” he said.

According to WJ: You probably recall a viral photo that was circulating online earlier in the year. Sure enough, it depicted children resting in a cage-like enclosure at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility.
And it was from 2014 — two years before Donald Trump was even elected.
Numerous liberals, like Shaun King, were taken in, but the photo, eye-opening though it may have been, was from Obama’s presidency.
Children of immigrants are being held in cages, like dogs, at ICE detention centers, sleeping on the floor. It’s an abomination.
Even Obama’s secretary of homeland security, Jeh Johnson, has admitted that the same ex-president who was scolding Trump oversaw almost identical policies.
“Many of the policies — and the pictures of children in cages — date back to the Obama administration,” we reported in June.
“And, during an appearance on MSNBC, former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson more or less acknowledged this fact.”
“So in 2014, to deal with the spike then, with the families, we did some things — including, by the way, working with the government of Mexico and obtaining their cooperation on securing their southern border. But we also expanded family detention. It was, I freely admit, controversial,” the former Obama administrator told MSNBC.

I saw this photo floating around and didn’t know if it was real.

Meanwhile, a different photo of a crying kid in a cage that spread like wildfire online turned out to be completely staged by a protest group.
It’s worth pointing out that the Trump administration ended the controversial policy — started by the Obama administration — even after Democrats shockingly declined to pass legislation that would have fixed the problem.
Oh, and of course Obama made no mention of the time his administration handed over young migrant children to a human trafficking ring. He’d rather you just forget about that.
“The United States government placed an unknown number of Central American migrant children into the custody of human traffickers after neglecting to run the most basic checks on these so-called ‘caregivers,’” New York magazine reported in January 2016, based on a Senate report.
When did that turnover happen? 2013, right in the middle of Obama’s second term.
Like a manipulative, abusive boyfriend who got caught cheating, Barack Obama wants the American people to believe that they’re the crazy ones for not accepting his fibs … but the American people are catching on to the scheme.
