The bodies of 11 dead babies have been discovered in the ceiling of a former funeral home in Detroit as authorities launch a massive investigation.
Eight tiny bodies were found by builders inside a hidden panel within the building, come also found in cardboard boxes.
A further three were discovered in e rubbish bags in a single small casket, according to police.
Emergency services have now sealed off the Cantrell Funeral Home in Detroit pending further investigation.
The identities of the babies are yet to be confirmed.

According to The DS: State officials shut the funeral home in April after inspectors found decomposing remains and disgusting conditions on the site.
Inspectors at the time found two mould-covered bodies in advanced stages of decay.
The walls of the funeral home's embalming room were unclean with peeling paint, stained walls and dirty floors, according to inspectors.
Robert Beavers, who runs a liquor store down the street, told reporters the home had been closed for some time.

"People have been going in and out of there cleaning up inside lately," he said.
Jameca LaJoyce Boone, the home's designated manager for a year before its closure, said the discovery was shocking.
She said: "I didn't know anything about that. I really don't know how that could even have happened.
"I don't know how long that's been going on there.
"It's very unfortunate and they definitely need to find out who put them there.
