The Judiciary Committee has heard testimony from two men who have confessed to sexually Christine Blasey Ford, clearing Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

The two men have reportedly come forward separately after hearing Ford's story and recalling the incident.

The pair has corroborated Dr. Ford's allegations, but insist it was them who had sexually assaulted her in the Summer of 1982, and not Kavanaugh.

The news was first revealed by Politico reporter Burgess Everett, who made the announcement on Twitter.

“[Senate Judiciary] Committee staff have a second interview with a man who believes he, not Judge Kavanaugh, had the encounter with Dr. Ford in the summer of 1982 that is the basis of her allegation,” Everett stated.

“He described his recollection of their interaction in some detail.”

“For people asking for more info,” added Burgess in a second tweet.

“This is from a long investigation summary from Judiciary Republicans distributed tonight.

"These interviews happened this week, according to the committee.”

According to Milne News, another Politico reporter also added more information about a second man's confession.

Elana Schor posted on Twitter:

Senate Judiciary Rs release a Kavanaugh investigative summary that includes:

-an anonymous claim of rape fwded by Harris’ office

-two intvs & a written statement from a man “who believes he, not” Kav, assaulted Ford in 1982

-phone intvu w/a 2nd man who believes same as above

If true, the men in question are putting themselves in serious legal jeopardy as there is no statute of limitations for rape in Maryland, where the alleged attack transpired.

David Martosko of the Daily Mail tweeted screenshots from the Senate Judiciary Committee report.

In what appears to be the log of the committee’s investigation and proceedings, an entry dated Monday, September 24, says committee staff held a “first interview” with a man claiming that it was him, not Kavanaugh, who “had the encounter with Dr. Ford.”

The man also submitted a written account to the committee earlier in the day.

In an entry dated Tuesday, Sept. 25, the committee reported that staff had a second interview “with a man who believes he, not Judge Kavanaugh, had the encounter with Dr. Ford in the summer of 1982 that is the basis of her allegation. He described his recollection of their interaction in some detail.”

The next day, another entry reads, “Committee staff receives a more in-depth written statement from the man interviewed twice previously” who claims to have had the encounter with Ford.

The committee staff also “spoke via phone with another man who believes he, not Judge Kavanaugh, had the encounter with Dr. Ford in 1982 that is the basis of her allegation.”

The man “explained his recollection of the details of the encounter.”

Martosko added:

And of course, the left is having a collective panic attack about the release of this report, just hours before the hearing is set to begin.

Which is exactly what Feinstein and co. did after Kavanaugh had testified before the committee — just as the Senate was planning to vote on his nomination.

One thing for sure is that these latest “confessions” highlight the uncertainty that accompanies claims that cannot be substantiated with any evidence, which makes them all — including those of Brett Kavanaugh’s accusers — very suspect.
