Kavanaugh Responds To Gang-Rape Accusations: This Is ‘From The Twilight Zone'
The latest stage in a strategically timed attack against Judge Brett Kavanaugh,
Supreme court judge nominee Brett Kavanaugh has responded to being accused of being “present” at multiple parties where women were allegedly gang-raped while he was in school.
Kavanaugh released the following denial:
"This is ridiculous and from The Twilight Zone," Kavanaugh said in a statement. "I don’t know who this is and this never happened."
In what appears to be the latest stage in a strategically timed attack against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, porn lawyer Michael Avenatti has revealed fresh claims from a third woman to make accusations of sexual assault against the Supreme Court nominee.
Stormy Daniels' attorney announced on Wednesday that he is representing a new accuser, Julie Swetnick, who has mysteriously emerged with allegations that she was "gang-raped" in the 1980s by Kavanaugh and Mike Judge.
The DW reports: On Wednesday morning, attorney Michael Avenatti finally made good on his promise of a third accuser against the judge.
While he had teased that he had proof Kavanaugh himself participated in gang-rapes, the sworn statement he released says Kavanaugh was “present” when these alleged incidents took place, and dodged questions regarding whether Kavanaugh actually raped or harassed the new accuser, Julie Swetnick.
Swetnick, in her statement, said she witnessed Kavanaugh and his classmate and friend, Mark Judge, acting “aggressive” toward women at parties after drinking heavily, and said the two would “spike the punch” at parties to lower women’s resistance to rape.
She also claimed men would line up outside rooms for their “turn” with a woman.
Swetnick says she was the victim of one such gang-rape.
An attorney representing Judge told NBC that his client “vehemently denies Ms. Swetnick’s allegations.”
Kavanaugh will testify before the Senate Judicial Committee on Thursday regarding previous accusations leveled against him by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who said Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed in a locked room, tried to remove her bathing suit, and put his hand over her mouth when she tried to scream.
