Stormy Daniels' Husband: 'She Threatens Our Child with Serious Harm'

Stormy Daniels' husband has filed for divorce from the adult entertainer claiming that she is threatening the safety of their child.

Porn star Daniels, who is currently on a cross-country strip club tour to cash in on her 15 minutes of fame following claims she had a one-night stand with President Donald Trump 12 years ago, is being sued for divorce by her third husband.

In the petition for divorce, husband Glendon Crain states that his wife is "placing my child in eminent threat of serious and immediate physical or emotional harm."

Daniels was arrested by police during a raid on a strip club earlier this month.

According to CNBC, arresting officers claimed that Daniels was arrested as part of a much wider human trafficking sting.

An official statement about the raid from Columbus Police said:

prostitution, & other vice related violations, CPD arrested 3 individuals from Club Sirens at 6190 Cleveland Ave., early this morning, 7/12/18"

Western Journal reports: According to the divorce petition filed July 18 and posted Monday by The Smoking Gun, Daniels’ third husband, Glendon Crain, alleged Daniels had “committed adultery” and the marriage “has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.”

Also, Monday, Daniels attorney, the ubiquitous Michael Avenatti, published a Twitter post confirming that divorce papers had been filed against his client and making a request that might sound odd coming from the source it does.

“A petition for divorce was filed last week, the accuracy of which is vehemently disputed. Stormy’s daughter remains her number one priority,” Avenatti wrote in a Twitter post. “She kindly asks for privacy for the sake of her family.”

Naturally, there were plenty of Trump haters on social media who were more than happy to use their responses to Avenatti’s tweet to attack the president.

But more than a few saw the irony in a publicity-hungry attorney appealing for privacy on behalf of a woman whose life has been the opposite of privacy, starting long before she went public with her story about Trump.

Unfortunately, there’s more involved here than two media magnets like Daniels and Avenatti. (And it’s worth noting that Avenatti’s wife has already very publicly told the world she wants to divorce the high-flying attorney.)

According to the divorce petition in Daniels’ case, the couple has been separated since July 11, when Daniels was arrested in a Columbus, Ohio, strip club for allegedly having illegal physical contact with undercover police officers – one of them a woman. (The charges were later dropped.)

The couple has a 7-year-old daughter, according to the divorce petition.

It might have been an issue related to the daughter that led to the final split.

In the petition, Crain — identified by the Washington Examiner as a heavy-metal drummer who has also worked in porn — stated that Daniels planned to fly the girl to join her on her tour.

“This will involve the child being on the tour bus with other adult performers and producers,” the petition states.

“This will place my child in eminent threat of serious and immediate physical or emotional harm.”

Most Americans – regardless of their politics – could understand the concern about having a child join an adult entertainment tour, even if her mother were the most attentive, caring woman in the world.

And the breakup of any marriage is not an occasion for celebration.

But Daniels’ is unique in one respect.

The fact that’s she was married at all has been kept surprisingly quiet, given that the rest of her career has been covered (and uncovered) since Daniels burst onto the scene in January when The Wall Street Journal first reported the story of her alleged one-night stand with Trump.

So for most Americans, the news about Daniels’ divorce was probably not nearly as surprising as learning that she was ever married in the first place.

But if that marriage couldn’t last, what hope is there for all the others?
