Over 100,000 people have signed a viral petition calling for Whoopi Goldberg to be fired from her hosting job at The View on ABC following her ferocious attack on Jeanine Pirro during a segment last week.
The petition, launched last week, originally called for a modest 50,000 signatures in response to Whoopi's outburst at Pirro, but it has now exceeded its goal reaching 100,000.
Once the petition is completed, the papers will be sent to the front door of ABC studios in Burbank, Ca.

On Thursday, Whoopi Goldberg and Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro had a heated debate that took a dark turn after the cameras turned off.
According to an interview with Judge Jeanine on Sean Hannity’s radio program, Goldberg verbally harassed Pirro on her way out. Pirro said that Goldberg spit on her and said “Get the [BLEEP] out of here” before ultimately exiting ABC studios. If a conservative host would have acted in this manner, you can GUARANTEE that they would have been fired on the spot! This petition is a direct message to ABC to FIRE liberal host Whoopi Goldberg for her disgusting way of treating Judge Jeanine! Once we hit our goal of 50,000 supporters, we will send this petition to the front door of ABC studios in Burbank, CA.
[UPDATE – We have crushed through all of our goals so far and are now shooting for 150,000!] Add your name NOW to make your voice heard!!!
According to the NZHerald: Whoopi Goldberg has commented on claims she told The View guest Jeanine Pirro backstage to "get the f*** out of the building", revealing: "I did it".
Whoopi returned to the her chair on the ABC talk show Friday, US time, and opened up about her fiery on-air stoush with the judge over US president Donald Trump, which took place the day prior.
The incident reportedly ramped up backstage with Ms Pirro claiming Whoopi screamed at her to "Get the f*** out of this building!".
Addressing the allegations on national television the next day, Whoopi admitted she had "used some choice words", but claimed there was more to the story.
"Things got hot on the air … I want to clear up what happened afterwards," Whoopi said.
"[Jeanine] was upset when she got here because Ana Navarro was on instead of Joy [Behar]. "And after the segment ended … she then called everybody at the table a name I cannot repeat on TV and said it in front of the audience."
Whoopi said she "rarely gets stirred up" but had "got a little hot" on this occasion.
"For 20 years, this show has always had people on with different views … but you cannot come and call people names," she said.
Following the segment, Whoopi went backstage "to calm down", by having a moment to herself.
"[Jeanine] came off, she stopped, put her finger in my face and yelled: 'I've done more for victims than you ever will'," she said.
