A massive water leak has engulfed the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, just eight months have the tragic massacre which took place at the resort.
Emergency services responded to reports of a huge water leak at the hotel with images showing the venue floors covered in gallons of water.
Mandalay Bay Resort tweeted on Tuesday to confirm the incident.
According to the statement:
“A water leak at Mandalay Bay has affected a portion of the South Convention Centre.
“Crews are working to clean up the leak as soon as possible."

“There are no major disruptions to operations.”
The Express reports: The hotel and aquarium later confirmed Shark Reef was unaffected and operational.
Crews found the water leaking from a space between the ground and first floor.
Shark Reef Aquarium tweeted: “Shark Reef Aquarium is fine and operational. Thank you.”
Officials later found the water was pouring from near the shark aquarium tank, which is a major feature in the famous hotel.
The Mandalay Bay Resort confirmed the leak on Twitter, saying: “A water leak at Mandalay Bay has affected a portion of the of the South Convention Center.
“Crews are working to clean up the leak as soon as possible. There are no injuries or major disruptions to operations.”
Clark County fire officials said no structural damage had affected the building.
But there was some damage to part of the first-floor ceiling.

Photos posted on social media show water flooding the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre.
Water was “pouring” from the ceiling, and attendees of a fraud conference being held at the venue were moved outside.
The leak was stopped and secured before electrical power was returned to the area.
Mandalay Bay is a vast hotel and resort complex on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip that opened in 1999.

No one has been reported as having being injured in the incident.
The on-site aquarium is one of the biggest in North America and houses over 100 species of sharks, rays, fish, reptiles and marine invertebrates.
It has 3,211 hotel rooms, a 2,000,000 square feet convention centre, and a casino of 135,000 square feet.
The complex also houses 24 restaurants and a 12,000 seat arena.
