Democrat Candidate Sprays His Face with Pepper Spray to Promote Gun Control

In a seemingly desperate bid for votes, Congressional candidate Levi Tillemann (D-CO)spayed himself with pepper spray in a newly released campaign advert demonstrating why teachers should not be armed with guns.
Tillemann claims pepper spray is a much better alternative to President Trump’s suggestion of arming school officials and teachers with guns.
Tillemann claims Pepper spray is much more effective in stopping potential school shooters in an ad titled “This Will Save Lives.”
The ad starts with a child running through a field before being hugged by his mother.

“In just a few years he’ll be in school, and Donald Trump wants to give his teacher a gun?” the child’s mother shouts.
“We need common sense gun control,” a man warns, adding “but that’s not enough.”
Gateway Pundit reports: Tilleman then appears, saying “I’m calling on Congress to stop talking past each other and try something new.
Empower schools and teachers with non-lethal self-defense tools, like this can of pepper spray.”
The spray should be stored in a “break-glass-in-case-of-emergency cabinet,” he notes.
“Pepper spray doesn’t cost much and it can be safely stored in a break glass in case of emergency cabinet. But it’s powerful and won’t accidentally kill a kid.

Trust me, this will stop anybody in their tracks,” he continued, before allowing himself to be sprayed in the face with pepper spray.
Writhing in agony, he then talks about how “incredibly painful” it is, dunks his head in bins full of soapy liquid and shoots a hose straight into his eye, as statistics about gun ownership appear on the screen.
“Wow. That’s intense,” the Democratic hopeful says, while wiping soap bubbles from his head. “It’s just unbearable. It’s like lava in your eyes.”
Tillemann, who will face off in Colorado’s 6th congressional district upcoming primary in less than two weeks and remains the leading candidate in the primary race, was a former Department of Energy official during the presidency of Barack Obama.
