Centers For Disease Control Announces It's Preparing Americans For Nuclear War

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has made an extremely unnerving announcement saying it will be preparing the American public for nuclear war - "public health response to a nuclear detonation" - in the skies over the US.

The announcement was released quietly over the Christmas period, presumably to avoid mass panic, as the heightened tensions between  North Korea and the United States continues to grow. 

The CDC's announcement focused on helping the American public "plan and prepare" for a nuclear disaster that would help reduce the fatalities throughout the US in such an event.

According to the CDC, the vast majority of Americans are 'ill-informed' when it comes to surviving a nuclear attack, stating: "federal, state, and local agencies will lead the immediate response efforts, public health will play a key role in responding."

"While a nuclear detonation is unlikely, it would have devastating results and there would be limited time to take critical protection steps,” the notice on the CDC website read. "Despite the fear surrounding such an event, planning and preparation can lessen deaths and illness. Most people don’t realize that sheltering in place for at least 24 hours is crucial to saving lives and reducing exposure to radiation," the CDC confirmed

Dan Sosin, CDC’s deputy director and chief medical officer in the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response and many other federal government officials specializing in radiation survival.

The CDC's briefing coincides with the massive tensions between North Korea and the United States.

Meanwhile, Kim Jong-un gave a warning concerning their nuclear threat in his latest annual speech:

“The entire mainland of the US is within the range of our nuclear weapons and the nuclear button is always on the desk of my office. They should accurately be aware that this is not a threat but a reality.”

Trump responded to what North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said in a New Year’s Day speech that Western nations would have to accept their status as a nuclear-armed nation as a “reality.

Trump responded by tweeting:

“Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”

To make matters more 'real', a high-ranking Pentagon whistleblower, Daniel Ellsberg, claimed that the US is about to launch "all-out nuclear war." The former government official previously leaked the Pentagon Papers that exposed a conspiracy to lie to the public offer the Vietnam War has said the United States is on the edge of "nuclear Armageddon."
