CNN Talking Head: ‘Trump to Blame for 9/11’
'I think it has not been good for the former president'
A CNN guest suggested that former President Trump was to blame for 9/11 in what seemed to be a Freudian slip during a recent broadcast.
During a discussion on the latest developments in the January 6th show trial, Republican Strategist Alice Stewart said this:
"I think it has not been good for the former president."
“I think we’ve made a case that he was responsible for 9/11.”
She then quickly corrected herself, noting “Or January 6."
“He should not have been pushing the election lies.”
Democrats, including Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi have repeatedly compared the events of January 6th 2021 to the terrorist attacks of September 11 2001.
But families whose relatives died in the 9/11 attacks have slammed Democrats for repeatedly comparing the worst terrorist atrocity in U.S. history to the January 6th riot.
Mast described Harris as “tactically illiterate” and “historically ignorant” for making the comparisons.
“I think she is just strictly historically ignorant, tactically illiterate. She has no reference point of any of this.
"When you look at making a comparison like that. There were bad actors on January 6th."
The January 6 Committee’s credibility plummeted after claims by Cassidy Hutchinson that Trump “lunged” for the steering wheel of his vehicle and demanded to be taken to the site of the riots.
The claims were contradicted by the lead Secret Service agent.
Despite the legacy media breathlessly reporting Hutchinson’s claims without much skepticism, the term ‘Amber Heard 2.0’ subsequently trended on Twitter as Hutchinson’s assertions were demolished.
