Joe Rogan: Banning Guns Means Only Criminals Will Be Armed
Podcaster weighs in as Left demands strict gun control laws

Podcaster Joe Rogan has responded as Democrats demand anti-Second Amendment laws, arguing that banning guns will mean that only criminals are armed.
During The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the host responded to the push for gun bans by stressing that such laws would only hurt law-abiding Americans.
Rogan was speaking in response to last week's Uvalde shooting in Texas and other previous incidents.
"It’s like, how do you stop that?" he said.
"No one knows how to stop that," Rogan noted.
"What is the answer?"

"Is the answer to take everyone’s guns?" Rogan asked.
"Well, they’re not gonna give their guns up.
"Only criminals are gonna have guns," Rogan said.
"This country has a mental health problem disguised as a gun problem.”

He also expressed concern over gun bans from a different angle.
He explained that a disarmed population necessarily gives all the power to the ruling elite in Washington.
"I don’t think it’s wise to take all the guns away from people and give all the power to the government," he said.
"We see how they are with an armed populace, they still have a tendency towards totalitarianism," Rogan added.
"And the more increased power and control you have over people, the easier it is for them to do what they do.
"And it’s a natural inclination, when you’re a person in power, to try to hold more power and acquire more power."
"Freedoms lost are rarely regained.”
