Elon Musk Accused of Sexual Harassment Just Hours after Dumping Democrats for GOP
Political attacks start against Tesla CEO after he revealed he 'will vote Republican'

Elon Musk has been accused of sexual harassment just hours after the Tesla CEO announced he is dumping the Democrats and will now "vote Republican."
Musk denied a sexual assault claim from a former SpaceX flight attendant.
According to a report from left-wing outlet Business Insider, Musk's aerospace company SpaceX paid the accuser $250,000 as part of a severance agreement in 2018.
In a tweet following the story, Musk warned the story should be "viewed through a political lens."
The allegations have emerged just hours after Musk announced he will no longer support the Democrats.
"In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party," Musk explained on Wednesday.

"But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican," Musk tweeted.
"Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold," he warned.

Musk denied the sexual claims in a brief statement to Business Insider, insisting that there is "a lot more to this story."
"If I were inclined to engage in sexual harassment, this is unlikely to be the first time in my entire 30-year career that it comes to light," he wrote, calling the story a "politically motivated hit piece."

Musk appeared to address the story on Twitter, saying that attacks against him should be viewed as political.
"The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens – this is their standard (despicable) playbook – but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech," the SpaceX CEO wrote.

In a follow-up tweet thread, Musk wrote, "for the record, those wild accusations are utterly untrue."
"But I have a challenge to this liar who claims their friend saw me ‘exposed’ – describe just one thing, anything at all (scars, tattoos, …) that isn’t known by the public," the CEO added.
"She won’t be able to do so, because it never happened."
Musk also joked about using the name "Elongate" for the scandal.
Finally, we get to use Elongate as scandal name. It’s kinda perfect. đ€Ł https://t.co/qSNH7lsn72

Musk, who is in the process of acquiring Twitter for $44 billion, has faced renewed criticism from the Left after he announced that he would reverse President Trump's ban from the platform.
He also said the platform has a "strong" left-wing bias.
