Zuckerberg Dumps Plan to Donate in Midterms after Film Exposes 2020 Election Rigging
The news comes just a week after 'Rigged' exposed Facebook founder

The Center for Tech and Civic Life, the group Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg used to distribute donations for the 2020 election, announced it would not be doing the same for the 2022 midterms.
The news comes just a week after “Rigged” exposed Meta and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s plot to influence the 2020 election.
Citizens United President David Bossie revealed the vast majority of the donations CTCL facilitated came directly from Zuckerberg and were given to heavily Democratic areas.
“The Chan-Zuckerberg initiative funded the Center for Tech and Civic Life,” Bossie said.
“OK, so they gave $327 million to that organization, and that’s a 501(c)(3)," he added.
“And that organization filed their IRS 990s, their tax returns. So we went through them, and in there … 160 of those grants accounted for $272 million. And 92 percent, 92 percent of that $272 million went to Biden counties.”

"CTCL announced a new project on Monday called the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence. It will dedicate $80 million over the next five years to create a network for the nation’s thousands of local election officials,” ABC News reported.
A spokesperson for Zuckerberg and Chan confirmed that the couple is not funding election offices this year.
“As Mark and Priscilla made clear previously, their election infrastructure donation to help ensure that Americans could vote during the height of the pandemic was a one-time donation given the unprecedented nature of the crisis,” Ben LaBolt said.
“They have no plans to repeat that donation.”
The announcement does not stop all concerns about the center.

It has campaigned for Democrats under the guise of improving elections before, so there is no guarantee this new program will not be more of the same.
The announcement ensures CTCL will not be using outside money to directly influence local election efforts, and that is a massive win for any American who wishes for fair and honest elections.
As Neon Nettle reported earlier this month:
Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent nearly $400 million on the 2020 presidential election in an effort to help then-candidate Joe Biden beat President Donald Trump, according to a documentary film from Citizens United Productions, “Rigged: The Zuckerberg-Funded Plot to Defeat Donald Trump.”
The new documentary details how the tech billionaire, alongside left-wing operatives, devised a way to unseat Trump under the guise of providing aid with safety efforts during the pandemic.
The group dumped private funding into government elections, creating a groundswell of get-out-the-vote efforts for Biden, who at the time had low levels of public enthusiasm.
Zuckerberg spent $400 million in 2020, just $61 million short of the $461 million the Democratic National Committee (DNC) spent in both 2019 and 2020.
