'Woke' Facebook Exec Busted in Pedophile Sting Operation
Top Meta executive Jeren Miles caught trying to rape 13-year-old boy in hotel room
A top Facebook executive has been caught trying to rape a 13-year-old boy in a hotel room during a pedophile sting operation.
Jeren Miles, the manager of community development at Facebook's parent company Meta, was exposed in a live-stream video while he waited for the child to arrive at his hotel room.
Miles, a "woke" activist who serves on the board of directors for LGBTQ advocacy group Equality California, was caught sending sexually explicit messages to, what he believed was, an underage boy.
He had coerced the "child" into meeting him at his hotel room where he allegedly planned to rape the boy.
However, he was actually speaking with an adult activist member of Predator Catchers Indianapolis, who was posing as a minor.
When Miles opened his hotel room door expecting the child to be waiting, he was greeted by members of the grassroots pedophile-catching operation, who streamed a live video of the bust online.
The group grilled Miles, on camera, about the messages he'd sent and his plans for meeting with the child.
Video of his remarks went quickly viral, prompting Meta to announce that the man in the video is, indeed, Miles.
However, Meta stated that Miles is now no longer with the company, suggesting he was fired over the incident.
According to the viral video, Predator Catchers Indianapolis, performing an amateur sting, met Miles at an unnamed hotel while he was waiting for the child to arrive.
He admitted to allegedly exchanging disturbing messages with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old boy.
"I was flirting," he said.
"I was talking to him. ... [T]here was never any intention of meeting up with him."
However, the activists had a record of all the messages he'd exchanged.
Later on in the video, Miles acknowledged that he did, in fact, arrange to meet with the person he believed to be the teen boy and said that he gave the person "information."
"I gave a location," he added.
Journalist and author Andy Ngo tweeted the concerning footage and captioned it, "This is so wild.
"Facebook/Meta's Manager of Community Development, Jeren A. Miles, was allegedly caught in an amateur child sex sting.
"YouTube channel 'Predator Catchers Indianapolis' live-streamed their interrogation of him."
Ngo also wrote about it in his blog, noting that Miles intended to meet the fictional boy at Le Meridien Columbus hotel in Ohio — the place Predator Catchers Indianapolis busted him.
Miles has reportedly deleted all instances of his social media presence.
Eric Schmutte of Predator Catchers Indianapolis told Ngo that he was turning over all chat logs, videos, and related evidence to local law enforcement for investigation.

"Miles is an LGBTQ activist & serves on the board of directors for Equality California.
"He's deleted all his social media."
"The man in the video's name is Jeren Miles, 36, of Palm Springs, California. Our team members gained access to his room by knocking on his door and telling them why they were there.
"He then invited them in for a conversation about his online activity," the spokesperson told Ngo, according to a report from the Post Millennial.
"Screenshots of the online conversation are being finalized and will be sent to the Columbus, Ohio and Palm Springs, California Police Departments later today."

The Post Millennial also reported that Miles previously worked as the director of community affairs for Lyft and visited the Boys and Girls Club of Winnipeg when he worked for the company.
Miles at that time said that he was looking forward to partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Winnipeg to provide them with rideshare opportunities.
A spokesperson for Meta told the Daily Caller News Foundation that Miles is no longer employed at the company.
"The seriousness of these allegations cannot be overstated,” the spokesperson said.
"The individual is no longer employed with the company.
"We are actively investigating this situation and cannot provide further comment at this time.”
