Jim Jordan: Democrats' Top Election Lawyer 'Involved in Spying' on Trump
Congressman reveals attorney Marc Elias has been exposed by Durham

Republican Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has revealed that the Democrats' "number one election lawyer" Marc Elias "was involved" in Hillary Clinton's campaign to spy on President Donald Trump.
Speaking during an appearance on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom,” Jordan continued to sound the alarm on special counsel John Durham's explosive court filing.
On Friday, Durham filed a motion in federal court alleging that Hillary Clinton’s political allies paid a contractor to spy on Trump as a sitting president and candidate.
Responding to the filing over the weekend, Jordan said that the spying was “worse than we thought.”
Jordan has now revealed that Durham’s filing also shows the Democrats’ election lawyer was also involved in spying on Trump.
The congressman describes Elias as "the Democrats’ go-to election guy."

"What I do think is interesting is in that filing it talks about [Michael] Sussman who has been indicted and tech executive one speaking with another lawyer at Perkins Coie, which everyone believes is Marc Elias,” Jordan said.
"Now, we all know Marc Elias is the Democrats’ go-to election guy.
"He worked at Perkins Coie," he noted.
"They’re the ones who helped finance and put together the now-famous dossier that they used on President Trump, but he is also the guy out there filing the actions against Republican redistricting efforts, and he’s part of the operation in North Carolina to try to keep one of my colleagues off the ballot.”
"So, this guy is involved in all those things, and now we learn he was involved in spying on the President of the United States,” he added.
"I think that is a key takeaway.
"The Democrats’ key lawyer, their number one election lawyer, was involved in spying on the sitting President of the United States.”

AS Neon Nettle reported last year, Elias, a prominent figure in the debunked "Russia collusion" conspiracy theory, parted ways with his law firm in August as Durham appeared to close in on his involvement in the anti-Trump campaign.

Elias led Democrats’ efforts to change the voting rules in the 2020 presidential election.
He also spearheaded efforts to overturn election results in close congressional races — including a New York race where he questioned voting machines.
Elias was the attorney at Perkins Coie who, in the run-up to the 2016 election, arranged for the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to hire the Fusion GPS opposition research firm to create the now-debunked anti-Trump "Steele dossier."
The arrangement was a fact that is mysteriously hidden in federal election filings.
