Trudeau Threatens Canadian Trucker Protesters with 'Consequences' for 'Breaking Laws'
'We’ve heard you, it’s time to go home now'

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has warned Canadian trucker protesters, “you are breaking laws.”
The warning comes amid the Freedom Convoy’s blockade on the Ambassador Bridge, a key shipping route for U.S.-Canada trade.
Trudeau accused the protesters of taking the “economy hostage.”
The Canadian leader threatened the truckers and those who are fatigued with his onerous public health mandates, despite the protest starting due to Trudeau’s mandates.
Meanwhile, Canadian leftists used terms like “occupation,” “siege,” and “terrorism” to describe the ongoing Freedom Convoy demonstration in Ottawa.
The leftists are siding with the totalitarian government, which is now considering using military intervention to end the protest.

"I want to make something very clear,” Trudeau told reporters on Friday.

“The illegal blockades seeking to take our neighborhoods and our economy hostage and the collective COVID fatigue we are facing are two very separate things," he added.
Trudeau warned truckers that they could lose their license or ability to travel to the United States.

“If you joined the protests because you’re tired of COVID, you now need to understand you are breaking laws,” he said.
“The consequences are becoming more and more severe,” he warned.
“You don’t want to end up losing your license, end up with a criminal record which will impact your job, your livelihood, even your ability to travel internationally, including to the U.S.”
The Ambassador Bridge shipping route accounts for at least 25 percent of trade between the United States and Canada.
Trudeau concluded by telling the drivers, “it’s time to go home now.”
“We’ve heard your frustration with COVID with the measures that are there to keep people safe. We’ve heard you, it’s time to go home now,” Trudeau said.
