Joe Biden seemed to lose his way as he left the podium on Wednesday, catching the attention of Twitter users, who called him an “embarrassment.”
Biden appeared lost and frail as he left the podium before wandering in the wrong direction.
He then turned his back to shake hands with several officials before apparently being reminded by Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) to put on his mask.

Biden was helped from the podium by First Lady Jill Biden.
The Democrat appeared to be on the verge of losing his balance.

At least one person attempted to come to Biden’s defense with what another Twitter user called an “unnecessary Trump reference.”

The news comes after Neon Nettle previously reported that Biden made a racist slur during his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, recalling when he saw “colored” children on a bus when he was a child.
Biden recalled when his mom drove him to a small Catholic school in Delaware:
“I got out of the car … and I said, ‘Mom why are all those kids — it was then called colored — Why are all those colored kids in that bus?’” Biden said.
“Because in Scranton, there wasn’t any, there were very few blacks,” Biden added.
