Matt Walsh Silences Transgender Activists on Dr Phil: 'What Is a Woman?'
Trans guests unable to answer simple question about gender
Renowned author Matt Walsh left two transgender activists stumped by asking them a simple question about gender: "What is a woman?"
Walsh appeared as a guest on the hit TV show Dr. Phil for a discussion about gender identity.
Two other guests, who identify as “non-binary,” claimed that biology shouldn't define gender and that anyone can be free to "identify" as a woman, describing womanhood as an "umbrella term."
However, they were silenced when conservative Walsh responded by simply asking them to define what a woman is.
The guests both admitted that they were unable to define what a woman is without using scientific terms.
Instead, they told Walsh, bluntly, “No, I can’t,” and claimed that “womanhood” is “different” for each person and therefore cannot be defined.
Walsh told Dr. Phil that when it comes to children, there can be a “basic confusion” about gender but that does not make a child “transgender.”
Giving an example, he said if a four-year-old boy tells a parent they are a girl, the parent should ask why.
The author said the kid will likely say that he wants to play with a dollhouse, or likes the color pink.
Walsh said that the child just wants to do stereotypical girl things, which is fine, but it does not change his sex or gender: That child is still a boy.
Here’s the part on Dr Phil where I demonstrate that the “gender experts” cannot even define the word woman or explain what they mean when they use it— Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog) January 19, 2022
Earlier in the segment, Walsh slammed the idea that people can choose their own pronouns that others are forced to use.
"You don’t get your own pronouns, just like you don’t get your own prepositions or adjectives,” Walsh told the guests.
"It’s like if I were to tell you, my adjectives are handsome and brilliant, and whenever you’re talking about me, you have to describe me as handsome and brilliant, because that’s how I identify.”
"That doesn’t make any sense.
"You don’t get your own pronouns.”
In November, Walsh launched his children’s book “Johnny the Walrus,” which tackles the issue of radical transgender ideology foisted on children.
In a matter of hours, the book sold out on Amazon.
The book features a young boy named Johnny with a wild imagination.
The child envisions himself as many things, including a walrus.
His progressive mommy knows her boy is a boy but becomes pressured by her friends on social media to “transition” her child to live his “true identity” as a walrus.
“But will Johnny be happy in his trans-walrus identity?” Walsh said.
“Read and find out.”
“There are dozens of children’s books brainwashing kids into the gender identity cult where they are taught that identity is malleable and biology is meaningless,” the author said.
“This book is meant to be an antidote to that madness.”
Earlier this month, Walsh was suspended from Twitter over tweets he posted recognizing biological realities and not so-called “gender identity.”
"The greatest female Jeopardy champion of all time is a man,” Walsh posted to Twitter — a tweet the left-wing platform has now censored.
"The top female college swimmer is a man.
"The first female four-star admiral in the Public Health Service is a man.
"Men have dominated female high school track and the female MMA circuit.
"The patriarchy wins in the end.”
Another tweet, which has also been censored by Twitter, reads, “I am not referring to an individual person as if she is two people.
"Everyone else can run around sounding like maniacs if they want but I will not be participating.
"No thank you.”
