A concrete wall is being erected outside the Biden White House without an explanation for the supposed security measure.
Live video feeds of the building were also taken offline.
Sometimes, the construction of security barriers can occur ahead of foreign heads of state visits, but there have been no events scheduled or publicly announced.
The wall’s construction began on the White House’s north lawn which is located between the structure and a pre-existing iron fence.

The wall’s construction comes amid Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s assertions that walls are "ineffective and racist."

The person who posted the video suggested such barriers are sometimes constructed to keep outsiders from viewing construction processes at federal buildings.
