CNN Ratings Plummet by 90% in First Week of 2022 amid Devastating Scandals
Establishment networks has bad start to year

Establishment "news" network CNN has not had a very good start to 2022 as viewers continue to flee amid a series of scandals.
The first week of 2022 saw a 90% drop in viewers compared to last year, according to Nielsen ratings.
In 2021, the network was hit with devastating scandals, which have been a major contributing factor to its ratings.
CNN saw an average daily viewer count of only 548,000 viewers for the week of Jan. 3.
That number represents an 81% drop of its average viewer count compared to the same week in 2021 when they had 2.7 million viewers.
The network's greatest ratings came last year from its coverage of the Jan. 6 riot, when Trump supports objected to the official results of the 2020 presidential election.

Then CNN ratings among primetime viewers were also abysmal, where it lost 89% in a key demographic year-over-year.
CNN lost 91% year-over-year among viewers aged 18 to 49-years-old.
Last year, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo was fired after allegations of sexual harassment emerged against him.
As Neon Nettle reported, CNN reportedly learned about a new sexual misconduct accusation against Cuomo just days before announcing on that he had been "terminated, effective immediately."

Later, CNN producer John Griffin, was arrested for raping and trafficking children as young as 9.
Between April and July 2020, Griffin allegedly invited three women and their underage daughters over "for the purposes of sexual training," according to the federal indictment.
According to prosecutors, only the Nevada woman took him up on his offer.
Giffin, 44, attempted to persuade parents to allow him to train their young daughters to be sexually submissive, the Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont said.
Earlier that year, a man accused CNN host Don Lemon of sexual assault detailed his allegations again.
In 2019, Dustin Hice sued Lemon, accusing him of assaulting him in a bar in the Hamptons, New York, a year earlier.
Hice claimed Lemon put his hand down his pants before shoving his hand in his face and touching himself.
