Biden Again Refers to VP Kamala Harris as ‘President’ - WATCH
'“Last week, President Harris and I stood in the United States Capitol'
Democrat Joe Biden has again referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “President Harris,” adding to a series of gaffes that seem to be becoming more frequent.
During a speech referencing the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill riot, Biden said:
“Last week, President Harris and I stood in the United States Capitol to observe one of those before and after moments in American history.”
While speaking about voting rights to students at Atlanta University Center Consortium, Biden didn’t seem to notice the mistake and didn’t bother correcting himself.

Biden did notice using the unintentional use of the words “hell,” before changing it to “heck” and “damn” before reversing it as “darn.”
On the subject of the Civil Rights movement, Biden said he had “walked” certain “grounds,” saying, “Seems like yesterday, the first time I got arrested — anyway.”
It was not clear if he was being serious, but he did previously walk back a claim that he was arrested attempting to see Nelson Mandela.
Since taking office, Biden has referred to Harris as president multiple times, including last month during an appearance at the South Carolina State University commencement ceremony.
“Of course, President Harris is a proud Howard [University] alum,” Biden told the crowd at the historically black university.
The official transcript was later amended and removed by the White House.
Biden also referred to Harris as President in March last year.
“Now when President Harris and I took a virtual tour of a vaccination center in Arizona not long ago, one of the nurses on that, on that tour injecting people, giving vaccinations, said that each shot was like administering a dose of hope,” Biden said.
In December 2020, Biden also referred to Harris and “President-elect.”
“President-elect Harris took hers today for the same reason.”
