Previously Deported Illegal Alien Charged with Stabbing Roommate to Death
Man got into an argument before the stabbing incident

An illegal alien, who was previously deported from the U.S., has been accused of stabbing his roommate to death in LaGrange, Georgia.
The LaGrange Police Department arrested and charged 27-year-old Carlos Eduardo Gomez Rios.
Gomez Rios allegedly murdered a 40-year-old man with whom he had been living.
Rios stabbed 40-year-old Cresencio Rosas De La Rosa in the neck, police said.
Rosa died of his injuries after being rushed to a nearby hospital.

As WTVM reported:
Police responded to an apartment in the 140 block of North Davis Road just after 1:30 a.m. Monday in reference to an unknown problem.
Upon arrival, police say they located the 911 caller, who indicated that there had been an altercation inside the apartment and a person inside who needed medical assistance.
Authorities entered the apartment and found the victim, 40-year-old Crecensio Rosas De La Rosa, in a bedroom with a stab wound to the neck.

EMS rendered aid before transporting the victim to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, where he later died, police say.
According to LaGrange police, the initial investigation revealed that four males - including the victim and the suspect- lived in the apartment together.
According to police, four men, including Rios and Rosa, lived in the apartment.
Rosa got into an argument before the stabbing incident.
Rios was quickly arrested in the apartment complex’s parking lot and charged.
In 2016, Rios was deported from the U.S but re-entered illegally at an unknown date.
He is currently being held at the Troup County Jail without bail.
