Top Republican Calls for Full Select Committee Investigation into Hunter Biden
Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) responds to new report on corrupt art dealings

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) has made an official call for a full House select committee investigation into Democrat Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden, over his “art” dealings.
Brooks, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, suggests the deals are being used as an influence-peddling vehicle for “access to the Biden name.”
The congressman, who is also a candidate for Alabama’s U.S. Senate seat in 2022, noted the timing of a newly released White House of corruption.
The report warns that the art market is “ripe for financial corruption.”
Accoridng to the report, shady art deals allow “government officials to abuse public power for private gain.”
As Neon Nettle previously reported, the decision by Biden's White House to make arrangements for the lucrative sale of Hunter's artwork has raised major ethics concerns.

The younger Biden, who is apparently an "artist" now, has been selling off his "art" for hundreds of thousands of dollars to "anonymous" private "investors."
However, the White House arranged to handle the sales and keep the buyers' identities, and the amount they paid for the artwork, a secret.
In a July statement, the Biden admin revealed that the lucrative artwork deals would be kept secret, despite the very public announcement of the sales, to try to avoid ethical pitfalls, according to a report by the Washington Post.
Walter Shaub, Obama’s former ethics chief, eviscerated the White House in a Twitter thread, saying the administration is trying to "make sure we will never know" who the buyers are.
"So instead of disclosing who is paying outrageous sums for Hunter Biden’s artwork so that we could monitor whether the purchasers are gaining access to government, the WH tried to make sure we will never know who they are," Shaub wrote while linking to the Post's report.
"That’s very disappointing."
Responding to the new report, Rep. Brooks suggested the investigation should take place once Republicans take control of the House of Representatives after next year’s elections.

"While Socialist Democrats claim you can identify as just about anything you want, everyone can agree that Hunter Biden can’t identify as an artist,” Brooks said in a statement given to Breitbart News.
"Despite this, his paintings sell for tens of thousands of dollars.
"The White House released a report that the art market is ripe for financial corruption.
"Yet somehow, they claim Hunter is immune from this.
"It’s quite apparent that people are not paying these outrageous prices for the ‘art.'”
"They are purchasing access to the Biden name,” he continued.
"This is nothing new for the Biden family.
"It is clear that for full transparency, a full select committee investigation into Hunter Biden and all of his scandals, including his laptop, is needed once Republicans take back control of the House in 2022.”
