Brit Hume says Joe Biden is 'clearly senile' and won't likely finish his term

Renowned political commentator Brit Hume has warned that Democrat Joe Biden's mental fitness is "clearly deteriorating" and says it is now likely he will not complete his first term in office.

Hume, Fox News's senior political analyst, weighed in on concerns about Biden's fitness to serve by noting that the Democrat leader is "clearly senile."

He issued the warning after it was announced that Biden would be running for a second term.

However, the senior political analyst didn’t buy it, arguing that the proclamation is merely a “political” tactic.

"I don’t think it’s at all clear that he intends to run again,” Hume said on “Special Report,” Mediaite reported.

"But I do think as a political matter, you have to say that."

If Biden were to admit he’s not running again, he would become a "lame duck," Hume explained.

“Lame duck presidents don’t do well,” he added.

Expanding on the matter, Hume said Biden wouldn’t “be in any condition” to run again, anyway.

He then called into question Biden’s ability to even finish this term.

"In fact, I think the thing we have to watch is the question of whether he serves out his first term,” Hume said of Biden.

"He’s clearly deteriorating, he’s clearly senile, and his health is — despite his doctor’s claims to the contrary — you know, when you’re falling downstairs and so on, as he did climbing the stairs to Air Force One, that’s worrisome.”

Last month, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), a former White House physician who served under former Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump, said Biden, now 79 years old, has “age-related cognitive decline” and is not “mentally fit” to serve as president.

"All I know is that he’s got age-related cognitive decline, right,” Jackson said on the podcast, the Washington Examiner reported.

"He is not mentally fit right now."

"You don’t need to be a physician to look at him and to look at his behavior and some of the other stuff, just the way he shuffles away, stares off into space.”

"I know what that job entails, both physically and mentally, and how demanding it is,” the doctor added.

"And I can tell you right now, I’m 100% sure that Joe Biden is incapable of doing that job."

Following a fumbling speech from Biden back in August, Jackson posted critical commentary of Biden.

"That was embarrassing,” he tweeted.

"There is something so obviously wrong with Biden’s cognitive fitness it was hard to watch.

"He should NOT remain President for another SECOND.

"We deserve better – MUCH better.”

Jackson also ridiculed the media’s double standard in treatment toward Trump compared to how they treat Biden, the Examiner outlined:

The first-term lawmaker said the event showed how the media and Democrats have a double standard when judging presidents. He viewed Trump as strong-minded but convinced him to take a cognitive test to quiet critics. He said Trump answered all questions correctly.

But when he called for the same thing for Biden, he was assailed.
