Kamala Harris reacted to the verdict of Kyle Rittenhouse, saying, “clearly there is a lot more work to do."

“The verdict really speaks for itself,” Harris told reporters.

“As many of you know, I spent a majority of my career working to make the justice system more equitable, and clearly there is a lot more work to do."

Rittenhouse, 18, would have faced a mandatory life sentence if found guilty and convicted of first-degree intentional homicide.

Before Harris was elected as vice president, she worked as a prosecutor and served as San Francisco and the State of California’s Attorney General.

Despite her claims that she strived to "make the justice system more equitable,” Harris’s prosecutorial record shows otherwise.

Harris failed to prosecute an illegal alien MS-13 gang member, who later went on to shoot and kill an entire family three months later.

Harris even laughed about smoking marijuana despite putting over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations.

Harris also championed a law that could have given jail time to the parents.

Earlier this week, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki claimed Harris is hugely unpopular among Americans due to sexism and racism.

"I do think that it is easier and harsher from some of the right-wing who have gone after her because she is the first woman, the first woman of color," she said Wednesday.

"I'm not suggesting anyone will acknowledge that publicly, but I think there's no question."

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich said Kamala Harris is probably the worst vice president in the history of American politics.
