Nick Sandmann Reaches Out to Rittenhouse in Heartfelt Message: ‘I'm Here for You'
Covington Catholic student offers sympathies

Former Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann gave 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse some reassurance in a heartfelt message on dealing with being slandered by the left-wing media.
Sandmann recounted his horrific experience of being slandered by the establishment media while he was just a teenager.
In an op-ed for the Daily Mail, Sandmann wrote:
The attacks on Kyle came from the national news media, just as they came for me. They came quickly, without hesitation, because Kyle was an easy target that they could paint in the way they wanted to.
This is the problem with liberal media outlets in the United States. They want to get the story first, get the most views, make the most money, and advance the agenda from liberal patrons. These outlets cover themselves when they are wrong with small footnotes at the ends of long articles, clarifying that new information has come out and that they have updated their coverage.
News shouldn’t be a scoreboard that constantly changes. News is about coverage that includes a statement of facts that does not need to be corrected. But, the liberal media doesn’t do this. The liberal media rushes to be the first to report.

Sandmann also slammed Joe Biden and Lebron James for their quick judgment on Rittenhouse.
Biden has referred to Rittenhouse as a “white supremacist.”
Meanwhile, LeBron James slammed Rittenhouse after the teen broke down in tears on the witness stand.
James tweeted:
"What tears????? I didn’t see one."
"Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”
Sandmann said:
From my own experience, the death threats, feeling of no future ahead, and that millions of people hate you, is enough to alter you in many concrete ways and permanently. Make no mistake: even the strongest of people cannot resist the mental impact when the media war machine targets you.

Sandmann offered his sympathies:
At this time I would like to use my platform to let Kyle know that I am here for you and if you ever would like to reach out to me, I am about the only person our age to have an idea of how the media is treating you. The way the media has treated you is terrible, and you don’t have to face it alone.
In 2019, Sandmann found himself demonized by mainstream news outlets like Washington Post and CNN after they reported he and several of his fellow students harassed a Native American man, Nathan Phillips, during the D.C. March for Life.
Phillips claimed that Sandmann and others locked his path and taunted him with racial slurs.
Although the story seemed somewhat credible, the narrative later took a drastic turn when the video showed it was Phillips who approached the boys.
The video also showed it was the boy being taunted with racial slurs by n extremist group known as the Black Hebrew Israelites.
Regardless of the facts, news outlets ran with Phillips’ account and smeared the boys as racists.
Sandmann took he brunt of the smears as CNN contributor Reza Aslan basted him.
“Honest question. Have you ever seen a more punchable face than this kid’s?” Aslan tweeted at the time.
But it now seems history is preparing itself as left-wing Facebook "fact-checker" Politifact faced backlash after the judge in Kyle Rittehouse's trial proved the organization pushed false claims about the defendant's case.
