MSNBC Attacks Truck Drivers: ‘Racist White Men’ Who Vote for Trump
'This is an industry populated by a lot of white men over the age of 55'

MSNBC host Tiffany Cross blasted white truckers who voted for Donald Trump, calling them aggressive and dangerous.
Cross argued claimed the trucking industry consisted mainly of white men over the age of 55, arguing it is a hotbed for racism.
“This is an industry populated by a lot of white men over the age of 55," Cross said.
"This group of people overwhelmingly voted for Trump."

"Some people have talked about, you know, aggressive truck drivers cutting them off or not being helpful.”
Cross also argued if there were more blacks working in the trucking industry, there would be less racism.

“So, obviously, the more populated it is with people of color, I think you’ll see less of that,” Cross said.
The Daily Mail reported:
"She pointed to Bureau of Labor Statistics showing that nearly 77 percent of truck drivers are white, whereas 16.8 percent identify as either black or African American."
Twitter users called Cross racist for stereotyping white truck drivers and criticizing the industry.
One Twitter user wrote:
"Ahhhh yes, nothing racist at all about suggesting that an entire race of people drives a certain way,' and another person insinuated 'the behavior of truck drivers takes no race, color or creed into account."
Another wrote:
"God didn't create race or racism."
"People like Tiffany Cross did."
