Tulsi Gabbard: ‘The American People Are Sick and Tired of the Elites’
'What I see is this continued disrespect of the American people'

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) has blasted the establishment elites and the modern Democratic Party for their lack of respect for the American people.
Gabbard highlighted the Democrats' reaction when it comes to the role parents have in their child’s education.
The former Hawaii Democrat lawmaker was interviewed on Monday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Hannity.”
“What I see is this continued disrespect of the American people,” she said.
“That’s — if we look at the underlying problem here is that we don’t have leaders who actually respect the American people, who actually respect us enough to listen to what parents are concerned about."

"You know, their children and their education," she continued.
"To listen to the American people who are sick and tired of the power elite, trying to tear us apart based on the color of our skin.”

“They don’t respect us enough to listen,” Gabbard added.
“So how can we ever expect them to actually act in our best interests rather than the interests of themselves, their power, or the power of the elite?”

Earlier this week, Gabbard praised Democrat losses in Virginia as "a victory for all Americans."
In the aftermath of Republican Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin's victory in Virginia over Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe, Gabbard celebrated the results on Twitter.
"McAuliffe’s loss is a victory for all Americans," Gabbard tweeted.
"Why? Because it was a resounding rejection of efforts to divide us by race, the stripping of parental rights, and arrogant, deaf leaders," she explained.
McAuliffe’s loss is a victory for all Americans. Why? Because it was a resounding rejection of efforts to divide us by race, the stripping of parental rights, and arrogant, deaf leaders. This benefits us all.
