Child Raped by Nearly a Dozen Migration-Background Men in Germany
Prosecutors are still examining whether or not to bring charges in the case
News details have emerged regarding a gang rape last year in Hamburg, Germany, which saw a 15-year-old girl raped over two hours by 12 men, ten of whom had a migration background.
The alleged gang rape happened in September last year, but more details have now come to light, reported by German media.
According to prosecutors, the 12 men, ten of them from a migration background, took part in he attack in the Stadtpark in the city of Hamburg.
The 12 men are said to be from he ages of 16 and 23.
All men are still under investigation.
But eleven are currently still at large, German magazine Focus reported.
Just one suspect has been briefly detained and then released.
The attack took place when a 15-year-old victim walked into the park at around 11:15 pm after leaving a friend’s birthday party.

One of the men is said to have lured the girl over to a nearby bush and raped her.
He then called his friend, who also raped her.
The attack took place over a period of two and a half hours, with the men filming the sex attack.
But prosecutors have stated that no video evidence of it has been obtained so far.
The men took the girl's mobile and purse before letting her go.
The forensic examination revealed traces of nine different sperm were found on the victim.
Prosecutors are still examining whether or not to bring charges in the case.
Reports have revealed that gang rapes have become so common in Germany, as the country sees an average of one to two of them per day.
The Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) statistics showed that gang rape cases had increased from 649 in 2018 to 710 in 2019, with a very small decrease to 704 in 2020.
