Marine Who Stopped Robbery Receives Valor Award, Wears 'Let’s Go Brandon' T-Shirt
Sheriff Wilmot announced Kilcer would receive the Citizen’s Valor Award

A Marine veteran, who stopped a robbery in progress in a gas station earlier this month, has received a valor award on Tuesday.
James Kilcer was hailed a hero after he was caught on camera taking a gun away from an alleged armed robber who entered a Yuma, Arizona store last week.
Sheriff Wilmot announced Kilcer would receive the Citizen’s Valor Award on Tuesday.
He showed up wearing a "Let's Go Brandon" T-shirt and a MAGA hat.

The incident occurred in a Chevron gas station after three suspects entered the store, including one who was armed.

The USMC veteran was near the counter when the suspects walked in.

The marine then turned on the alleged armed suspect and took away his gun.

The former USMC was able to detain the suspect after disarming him.
but the other two suspects fled the scene, Fox 8 reports.

The armed suspect, who was a juvenile, was booked into the Yuma County Juvenile Justice Center for one count of armed robbery and one count of aggravated assault.
