There is much speculation on Trump's intentions on running again, given the new rally was in one of the first primary states to hold presidential elections.

Fox News interviewed a Trump adviser and a GOP consultant on the subject.
Trump political adviser and veteran GOP operative Eric Branstad said:
"The great thing about the Iowa State Fair – we've got plenty of parking, plenty of space. President has been here before. He loves the Iowa State Fair."
"What better place and what better setup than what we have here right now."
Iowa-based GOP consultant David Kochel added:
"Everything about the Iowa State Fair says politics."
"It's ground zero for congressional races, Senate races, governors races, and most importantly presidential races."

"Anybody who's run for president in a serious way in the last couple of decades has spent some time around the corn dogs, the buffalo chip throwing contest, and all the things that come at the Iowa State Fair."
Last month, former White House advisor Jason Miller said Trump would "definitely" run for president in 2024.
Miller told Cheddar News at the time:
"I would say the likelihood is somewhere between 99 and 100%."
"I think he's definitely running in 2024."

Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan also said he believes Trump will once again seek the Party's nomination.
"I think he's gonna run. I want him to run," Jordan said.
