Parents of Jailed Marine: Biden 'Trying to Bury Him' for 'Speaking Truth to Power'
Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller slammed Biden's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan

The parents of a marine, who was jailed for publically criticizing Democrat Joe Biden's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, have spoken out to accuse the regime of "trying to bury" their son for the "crime" of "speaking truth to power."
On Wednesday night Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller's mother Cathy and father Stu Sr. told Fox News host Tucker Carlson they were shocked and angry at his fate.
The furious mom and dad said their son was taken into pre-trial confinement on Monday over his social media posts.
"He's been in prison since Monday," the father told Carlson.
"We talked to him for two minutes on Monday.
"He gave us two messages: He said call my attorney. We did. He said tell everyone. So we appreciate you having us on."

"We appreciate you allowing us to reach out to your listeners because this story is outrageous and it needs to be told," the parents added.
Cathy Scheller said that they don’t know what the charges are against their son, although Stu Scheller Sr. suggested that it was tied to his son’s decision to break a gag order that he was under.
"Probably a week or two ago, or maybe it was a week ago, they put him under a gag order,” Stu Scheller Sr. told Carlson.
"They took away his right to post, to talk on social media, to email, to text.
"He shared it with America," he said.
"And he knew this weekend when he posted again and he broke his silence, that they were probably going to arrest him on Monday.
"So, he is a very intelligent man.
"He understands what’s going to happen to him.”
"And I said last night on a program, Tucker, his crime was speaking truth to power, and power couldn’t handle it,” the father continued.
"I also said that while he broke chain of command, Austin, Milley, McKenzie, they broke the chain of trust and confidence in the American people.
"We’re mad, we’re mad as hell.
"And I’m asking the American people to find your voice.
"Stand up, demand accountability of your Congresspeople.
"Ask for Lieutenant Scheller to be freed.
"In my opinion, of course, I’m dad, so it’s probably not fair, but I think he should receive his pension after 17 years of fighting for this country.
"I think he and his family should have their health benefits and VA benefits for the rest of their lives for the sacrifices he’s made.”

The regional brig, where Scheller is being kept, houses pre-trial inmates as well those serving sentences of one year or less.
He is being kept in an area normally reserved for suspected murderers, a source close to the case said.

Some employees have provided Scheller with reading material, which is believed to include a copy of the Bible and a military history book.
The pre-trial holding facility was rebuilt in 2012, replacing a 44-year-old jail with the "latest and greatest features," the Marines said in celebrating its opening.
The Marines have touted the facility as having a range of correctional programs, fitness training, counseling, religious programming, and more.
It wasn't clear whether Scheller has access to any of those programs, however.
