Biden Mistakes the United Nations for the United States in Speech - WATCH
Biden makes major gaffe while addressing U.N
Democrat Joe Biden made another flub while addressing the UN General Assembly, mistakenly calling the United Nations the "United States."
That's a pretty big gaffe considering he was addressing the U.N.
“As we pursue diplomacy across the board, the United States will champion the democratic values that go to the very heart of who we are as a nation and a people, freedom, equality, opportunity, and a belief in the universal rights of all people,” Biden said.
“It is stamped into our DNA as a nation, and critically it is stamped into the DNA of this institution, the United States.
“We sometimes forget a quote the opening words of the universal declaration of human rights, quote, the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice, and peace in the world."
"The founding ethos of the United Nations places the rights of individuals at the center of our system,” he continued.

Biden told the U.N. he is the first U.S. president in 20 years to address them while not being at war.
“I stand here today for the first time in 20 years with the United States, not at war,” he said.
“We've turned the page."
"All the unmatched strength, energy and commitment, will and resources of our nation are now fully and squarely focused on what's ahead of us, not what was behind.”
Neon Nettle reported last week that Biden's approval rating plummeted amid multiple ongoing crises under his watch, according to a Reuters/Ipsos national poll.
The poll, conducted between the 15 - 16 of September, reports only 44% approve of Biden's performance, making it his lowest so far. 46% has been Biden's lowest approval prior to the Reuters/Ipsos polls.
Biden faced massive backlash for his botched U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan which is now having a noticeable effect on his favorability.
The Quinnipiac poll found that 65% disapprove of Biden's handling of the troop withdrawal, while just 31% approve.
