WH Staffers Admit They Mute Joe Biden’s Public Appearances Out of ‘Anxiety’
White House staffers cannot bear to watch him speak
White House staffers have said they resort to turning off or muting Joe Biden’s public appearances due to anxiety and embarrassment, according to reports.
Aides admitted that watching Biden's public appearances caused them to become "filled with anxiety,” Politico reports.
Biden sometimes goes off the script when taking questions from reporters and deviates from a prepared messaging strategy which is what causes problems.
“I know people who habitually don’t watch it live for that reason,” said one current official.
But the Biden aides missed a number of gaffes on Tuesday because they tuned out.
During Tuesday's New York speech, Biden made three blunders.
One was calling New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand “Kristen."
The second was vowing to make electricity production carbon neutral by “2020."
And the third was wildfires spreading “wisely” across the country.
Neon Nettle reported earlier that Biden spoke about tornados in New Jersey saying:
"Looks like a tornado — they don’t call them that anymore — that hit the crops and wetlands in the middle of the country.
“In Iowa, in Nevada, in —it’s just across the board.”
Joe Biden said we don’t call tornadoes tornadoes anymore but last week at my daughters high school they announced that they were going to test the tornado sirens. Poor old fella is lost. pic.twitter.com/tc6D9zU5m4— Kambree (@KamVTV) September 7, 2021
Biden also informed the press he is not supposed to take questions from the press.
The most spectacular performance which highlighted Biden's incompetence was when he bowed his head under mounting pressure from tough questions about Afghanistan being fired at him by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy.
Biden tried to flip responsibility for the situation in Afghanistan onto Donald Trump, but when Doocy gave Biden the reality check that Trump was no longer the president, he crumbled and lowered his head.
