Mitch McConnell: Biden ‘Won’t Be Removed from Office’ for Afghanistan Disaster
'There isn’t going to be an impeachment'

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said Democrat Joe Biden "won't be removed from office” following the deadly Afghan evacuation, which left hundreds of Americans stranded and 13 U.S. military personnel dead.
McConnell's remarks come after Biden left billions of dollars worth of equipment to the Taliban, which has caused a massive security threat.
“Well, look, the president is not going to be removed from office … I think the way these behaviors get adjusted in this country is at the ballot box,” the Wall Street Journal reported McConnell’s remarks.
“There isn’t going to be an impeachment,” the Kentucky Senator who lost his majority in the 2020 election cycle added.

Even though McConnell rubbished calls to impeach Biden, almost 40 combined Senate and House Republicans call for him to resign.

"Well, look the president is not going to be removed from office...I think the way these behaviors get adjusted in this country is at the ballot box."
"There isn't going to be an impeachment."
The frustration surrounding Biden's Afghanistan disaster has prompted ep. Jerry Carl (R-AL) to co-sponsor a resolution that demanded he “resign immediately” for proving “himself to be unfit to lead our nation and serve as our Commander-in-Chief."
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was also called on to remove Biden from office by beginning "impeachment proceedings immediately" after Americans were abandoned in Afghanistan.
"The American people must have full confidence in their Commander in Chief’s judgment and ability to protect our country and respond decisively to national security threats,” the House members wrote to Pelosi.

"We have no confidence in President Joseph R. Biden’s ability to carry out his duties as Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces."
But it is not just Republicans that are angry about the deaths of the 13 U.S. military personnel; Americans are now embarrassed about Biden leaving billions of dollars of U.S. equipment in the Taliban’s hands.
Neon Nettle reported earlier this week that Taliban fighters were captured on video strolling into an abandoned U.S hangar in Kabul airport while sporting stolen military gear.
The armed Taliban fighters appear to be equipped with American helmets, weapons, and ballistic vests.
Meanwhile, Biden's former interpreter, who helped Biden flee the country when he was U.S. Senator, has been stranded in Afghanistan.
“Hello Mr. President: Save me and my family,” interpreter Mohammed told the Wall Street Journal while he is in hiding.
“Don’t forget me here.”
“I can’t leave my house,” he said.
“I’m very scared.”
When White House press secretary Jen Psaki was pressed about Mohammed’s plea for help, she responded:
“We will get you out, we will honor your service, and we’re committed to doing exactly that.”
