Biden on Afghanistan Disaster: History Will Judge Me as 'Logical, Rational, & Right'
Biden claimed the exit from Afghanistan would always be chaotic
Democrat Joe Biden has claimed the disastrous fallout from his decision to pull American troops out of Afghanistan will eventually prove he was right, despite massive criticism from both sides of the aisle.
After delivering a speech, Biden said:
“I think that history is going to record this was the logical, rational, and right decision to make."
Biden claimed the exit from Afghanistan would always be chaotic, despite botching Donald Trump's original plan and previously claiming it would be handled “responsibly, deliberately, and safely” and not “hasty.”
“Let me be clear, the evacuation of thousands of people from Kabul is going to be hard and painful no matter when we started; when we began,” he said.
Meanwhile, the majority of Americans no longer considered Biden competent enough to be president.
Biden defended his decision to leave Afghanistan and repeated the sense of urgency even though he failed to prepare for a smooth exit.
“My job is to make judgments."
"My job is to make judgments nobody else can or will make,” Biden said.
"We will not conduct a hasty rush to the exit. We'll do it responsibly, deliberately, and safely. And we will do it in full coordination with our allies and partners...Taliban should know that if they attack us as we... "— Howard Mortman (@HowardMortman) August 15, 2021

“I made them. I’m convinced I’m absolutely correct.”
Biden also claimed his critics wanted him to remain in Afghanistan longer.
“Look, at the end of the day, if we didn’t leave Afghanistan now, when do we leave?” he asked.
“Another ten years? Another five years? Another year?”
According to a new survey by Rasmussen, a staggering 1 in 10 Democrats say they "regret" that they voted for Biden over President Donald Trump.
Additionally, the poll found that President Trump would win the election in a landslide if it were held again today.
Even former White House physician Ronny Jackson called on Biden to leave office.
Jackson, who served under President Trump and Obama, said Biden is no longer “cognitively prepared” to be president.
“We’re looking horrible right now on the world stage; this is an absolute national embarrassment."
"I’ve been saying that he’s not; he’s not cognitively prepared to be our president.
"And this is just another example of his failure."
