'We want freedom for our people in Cuba'

Cuban-American protestor Lilia Gort, who was demonstrating against communism at a peaceful assembly in support of the rights of Cuban people in front of the White House, blasted Democrat Joe Biden for failing to step in.
“We want freedom for our people in Cuba," Gort told Breitbart News.
"The Cuban people don’t have any rights.
"We don’t have freedom of speech.
"It’s been like this for 61 years or more.
"The children don’t have any food.
"They don’t have medicine.”

“They are tired of not being able to speak and say what they want to say. They have no food. They have nothing,” she added.
“They need our help. They need President Biden to step up. …
"All we want is freedom. We don’t want no money."
"We don’t want COVID [coronavirus] shots.
"We need help. That’s what we want.”

Cuban-American Abraham Corces traveled from New York City to D.C. to protest in support “for the Cuban people and to ask for freedom.”
“I would like Sleepy Joe to wake up and see that communism and socialism is a failed system and our neighbors 90 miles away need our help right now, the same way we’ve helped many other nations.”

Earlier this month, Biden’s administration faced backlash for claiming the recent protests in Cuba, where demonstrators demanded an end to the country's communist dictatorship, were actually protesting “rising COVID cases/deaths."
Cubans took to the streets to protest their lack of freedom under the far-left Marxist regime, while some were carrying American flags chanting “Liberty” and “Freedom.”
Last week, Cuban Americans also rose up against Biden for his lack of support for the people of Cuba.
Hundreds of protesters shut down a major expressway in Miami as Biden and many top Democrats have failed to give adequate support to Cubans who are demanding freedom from Cuba's communist dictatorship.
"We haven’t gotten support from the president," the man said of Democrat Biden.
"So, we are trying to fight, to finish with the communism."
