Illegal Alien Arrested after Brutally Raping Ex-Landlord in 'Revenge Attack'
Man charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct

An illegal alien has been arrested by police after an alleged "revenge attack" on his former landlord, where he brutally raped her.
23-year-old Rolando Lopez-Meneses from Mexico was charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree criminal sexual conduct for raping his landlord.
Lopez-Meneses was renting a room in the home of his victim for around eight months before the rape occurred.
The victim told police that weeks before, Lopez-Meneses asked if his girlfriend could move into the bedroom with him.
Lopez-Meneses later moved out of the victim’s home.

The victim then said Lopez-Meneses returned requesting to rent the room again, but it had already been rented to someone else.
The victim said Lopez-Meneses turned up at her home using a key that was supposed to be returned after his tenancy had run out.
The victim told police Lopez-Meneses climbed on top of her while she was sleeping and covered her face so she couldn't breathe.
When the landlord began screaming, Lopez-Meneses began beating and raping her.

Lopez-Meneses fled the scene after one of the victim’s tenants came out of his room to see what was happening.
When police arrived, the victim had locked herself in her bedroom until the area was secured.
Officers said the victim was wrapped up in a blanket and sobbing with bruises on her body and was bleeding.
She was then taken to a nearby hospital, where she recounted what occurred.
Lopez-Meneses was later arrested by police on July 21, where he admitted to using his old key to access the victim’s home.
Lopez-Meneses claimed he did not rape the victim, but rather the sex was consensual.
Lopez-Meneses is being held at the Ramsey County Jail in Minnesota.
