Cardinal Wilton Gregory, the archbishop of Washington, DC, said Americans must share the United States with illegal aliens urging them to protect and welcome them.

The pro-mass migration group American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC) put on a press conference where Gergory told members of Congress they should pass the amnesty to 11 to 22 million illegal aliens residing in the United States.

“Catholic social teaching upholds the principle that every person has the right to live in his or her own homeland in security and dignity,” Gregory said.

“However, when loss of workforces migration, we must welcome them, protect them and share our abundance with them.”

“Standing in solidarity with our migrant brothers and sisters means once again raising the question, will we care for our neighbor?"

"After years of delay, the 117th Congress now has an opportunity to be courageous by addressing immigration in a comprehensive and productive way,” Gregory continued.

His remarks coincide with Democrats pushing for expansive amnesty for illegal aliens into budget via the little-known filibuster-proof reconciliation process, requiring 51 votes.

Senate Budget Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Democrats would “do the best that we can” in slipping an amnesty through reconciliation.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is also pushing Congress to pass an amnesty.

Bishop Mario E. Dorsonville said in a statement:

“All Dreamers, not just those receiving DACA, deserve the opportunity to achieve their God-given potential in the only country most of them have ever known."

“This is not only a matter of human dignity but also family unity, considering the 250,000 U.S.-citizen children with Dreamers as parents.”

“My brother bishops and I urge the Senate to join the House of Representatives in passing legislation that would provide legal status and a path to citizenship for all Dreamers,” Dorsonville continued.

The exploding immigration levels are already driving U.S. wages down while funneling $500 billion in wealth from the working and middle class of America, according to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.

Amnesty for illegal aliens would drain the American taxpayers and drive wages down, The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) found.

At the beginning of this year, Joe Biden laid the groundwork for an amnesty for 11 to 22 million illegal aliens to discuss a legislative strategy during a meeting with border lobbying groups.

Last year Neon Nettle reported on Biden's proposal to flood suburban communities with immigrants.

The Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations aim to give an immediate amnesty and a pathway to U.S. citizenship for 22 million illegal aliens currently living in the US.

Last year, Pope Francis pushed communist policies to be adopted on a global scale "for the good of all."

"There were those who would have had us believe that freedom of the market was sufficient to keep everything secure," Francis wrote.

The pope also advocated the redistribution of wealth and denounced the absolute right to private property.
