Radical Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is still silent on the uprising against Cuba's communist regime, despite her socialist allies expressing support for the country's dictatorship over the protesting Cuban people.

Ocasio-Cortez is one of four members of the far-left Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) in Congress.

As the people of Cuba are rising up and demanding freedom from communism, the DSA has appeared to back the Cuban government as it attempts to silence the protesters.

Ocasio-Cortez and three other House Democrats - Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib, New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman, and Missouri Rep. Cori Bush - make up the four DSA members in Congress.

However, all four members have yet to speak out about the ongoing protests in Cuba.

The lack of comment from AOC and her "Squad" comes as Republican lawmakers have flooded social media with an outpouring of support for the people of Cuba.

On Monday, the DSA International Committee declared its solidarity with the "Revolution" – the term used by the communist regime.

The radical-left group called the uprising a "moment of unrest."

The DSA's national arm also echoed Cuba's president in blaming America's trade embargo with the communist regime for the unrest.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, broke his silence on the Cuban protests in a late-night tweet Monday.

Sanders urged the Cuban government to "refrain from violence" while criticizing the U.S. for its embargo.

Cuba isn't the only socialist regime to receive positive treatment from the DSA.

Earlier this month, a DSA delegation met with Venezuelan socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro.

Maduro boasted of the meet by tweeting photos from the meeting.
