AOC Blasts Biden for Negotiating with Republicans: He's 'Setting the Planet on Fire'
'Allowing massive corporations and the wealthy to not pay their fair share of taxes'

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez scolded Joe Biden for negotiating with Republicans on infrastructure, saying he is “dismantling voting rights" and “setting the planet on fire."
AOC tweeted:
Pres. Biden & Senate Dems should take a step back and ask themselves if playing patty-cake w GOP Senators is really worth the dismantling of people’s voting rights, setting the planet on fire, allowing massive corporations and the wealthy to not pay their fair share of taxes, etc

“Pres. Biden & Senate Dems should take a step back and ask themselves if playing patty-cake w GOP Senators is really worth the dismantling of people’s voting rights, setting the planet on fire, allowing massive corporations and the wealthy to not pay their fair share of taxes, etc."

Meanwhile, Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-NJ) admitted during a town hall that Biden’s expensive infrastructure focuses on items unrelated to building roads, tunnels, and bridges.
The proposal’s “clean energy transition” could endanger up to 142,000 jobs while increasing energy costs by up to $292 per month.
Earlier this month, Biden refused an offer from Republicans to increase the spending in their proposed infrastructure bill to nearly a trillion dollars, which has no corporate tax increases.
Biden has now put negotiations on the shelf while he tours Europe.

USA Today reported:
“Biden cut off negotiations Tuesday for a bipartisan deal on infrastructure with a group of six Senate Republicans, shifting his focus to a coalition of moderate senators from both parties to keep hopes alive for a compromise.”

In April, AOC praised Biden after he marked his 100 days in office, saying he exceeded their "progressive" agenda.
Ocasio-Cortez said during a virtual town hall meeting:
"The Biden Administration and President Biden have definitely exceeded expectations that progressives had."
"A lot of us expected a much more conservative administration."
AOC said Biden's flexibility in negotiations has been "very impressive" and led to the passage of "progressive legislation."
