Trump Rages at Biden's Border Crisis: 'They Are Destroying Our Country'
'I’m seriously considering' visiting the border

Donald Trump said the current border crisis has been caused by “gross incompetence” from the Democrats and floated the idea of visiting the southern border himself.
During an interview with Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Co.,” Trump said:
“Well I’ve been asked to go by a lot of different people, including border patrol."
Trump added, “there’s a good chance” he will visit the southern border.
“These are great people that work so hard for our country, and I’ve been asked to go, so I’m seriously considering it, it could happen, relatively soon, just to support these incredible men and women who have done such a good job and you know they just are left out to dry,” Trump said.
Trump added that nobody in Biden’s administration is properly assessing the crisis, calling it “disgraceful” and “really terrible."

“So it’s totally open. I personally think it’s incompetence," Trump said.
"I don’t think it’s to let people in because so many of the people are criminals coming in.”
Trump said that many crossing the border are “rapists and murderers and drug dealers” who are not wanted in their own countries.
“If you remember with Cuba, you remember what happened there, well this is the same thing, but this is on a much bigger scale and what’s happening to our country — they’re destroying our country.”
Trump also suggested that Democrats are intentionally allowing illegal immigrants into the U.S to magnify their voter base.
“They don’t need the votes because they cheat at the elections."
"Everyone says they are doing it because they need the votes.”
“They don’t need the votes, they cheat like hell, so I just think it’s gross incompetence,” Trump alleged.

In April, a CNN poll revealed the majority of Americans do not approve of how Biden is handling what they believe is now a border crisis.
78% of those polled believe that the situation at the border is a crisis.
But just 19% believe otherwise.
Meanwhile, 65% of voters disapprove of Biden's handling of the situation, while just 29% approve.
