Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said her greatest accomplishment in the political arena is Obamacare, otherwise known as the Affordable Care Act.

The House speaker praised the legislation signed into law under former President Barack Obama, claiming it “enabled millions of people to have access to quality, affordable care.”

Pelosi claimed the Affordable Care Act is a “pillar” along with Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

During an interview on “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski said to Pelosi:

“I know that your greatest accomplishment is your five incredible kids."

“Yes,” Pelosi agreed.

'I consider it a pillar — Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act,' Pelosi said

“So, putting them aside just for a moment, what would you consider your greatest accomplishment over the age of 50?” Brzezinski asked.

“Well, I don’t think anything compares with the Affordable Care Act,” the California Democratic lawmaker smugly replied.

"And not only 20 million more, but also families to have better benefits at lower costs, more accessible, more affordable," she added.

"So, nothing compared to that.”

“I consider it a pillar — Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act,” she added.

Back in December 2018, a Texas judge ruled that Obamacare was 'unconstitutional.

Along with 19 other states, Texas argued to U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor that they had been negatively affected by the number of people using state-backed insurance.

Congress lowered the tax penalty from the program in 2017, which undermined the Supreme Court’s argumentation for determining Barack Obama’s signature legislation as 'constitutional' in 2012, the states claimed.
