Christians from around the globe have donated bomb shelters to Israel following the onslaught of Palestinian terrorist attacks.

Nine shelters are set to be delivered, while another six have been ordered by the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem (ICEJ).

Shelters will be positioned in locations of hospitals, youth centers, daycares, and schools.

The Jerusalem Post reported:

“ICEJ has been donating portable shelters to communities at risk since 2008 when it donated more than 50 shelters to be placed by bus stops in Sderot."

“In total, the organization, with the support of Christians worldwide, has given 118 shelters to southern Israeli communities, working in conjunction with Operation Lifeshield to ensure the shelters are built to Israel Defense Forces standards.”

Dr. Jürgen Bühler, the president of ICEJ, said the organization is working hard to support Israel amid the attacks.

“Israeli residents in the Gaza envelope have only seconds to reach safety, and they repeatedly have told us that these shelters indeed save lives,” he said.

“They also have given these families living in harm’s way the peace of mind they need to stay put and lead their daily lives despite the constant rocket threat.”

Around 2,900 rockets were launched at Israel from the Gaza Strip, an operation dubbed by the military as “Guardians of the Walls."

450 rockets fell inside the enclave.

The Iron Dome intercepted some 1,150 rockets.

The IDF released the following statement about the strike:

A short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck a multi-story building that contained military assets belonging to the intelligence offices of the Hamas terror organization.

The building contained civilian media offices, which the Hamas terror organization hides behind and uses as human shields. The Hamas terror organization deliberately places military targets at the heart of densely populated civilian areas in the Gaza Strip.

Prior to the strike, the IDF provided advance warning to civilians in the building and allowed sufficient time for them to evacuate the site.

IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Hidai Zilberman said:

“I want to see what would happen if one rocket was fired on Washington. They are firing salvos toward civilian populations."

“We are in the middle of an operation. If Hamas and PIJ think they can hide behind the media, their buildings are not something they can hide behind.”
