The decrease was most notable among Independents and Republicans

Establishment media network CNN has seen an almost 25 percent decrease in viewers who once relied on the station for news, a Rasmussen Reports revealed.
Just 25% of likely voters now see CNN as their primary news source, the survey found.
The figure shows a decrease of 22 percentage points from May 2021 to May 2017.
The decrease was most notable among Independents and Republicans.
Republicans who regularly consumed news from CNN fell from 40 to 9 percent in the same period.

For Independents, the figure fell from 47 to 21 percent.
Rasmussen Reports notes:
“It may be that the biggest loser in last year’s election wasn’t a political candidate, but CNN, which has seen its ratings drop precipitously since former President Donald Trump left office in January."

The viewership figures come amid the network being exposed for “fake news" after Project Veritas released hidden camera footage revealing the network engages in “propaganda."

CNN technical director admitted the network's “focus was to get Trump out of office.”
The individual, who Project Veritas alleges to be CNN technical director Charlie Chester, openly discusses the “propaganda” regarding President Trump's health.
“We were creating a story there that we didn’t know anything about," Chester began.
"That’s what – I think that’s propaganda, you know?” Chester is seen saying, according to Project Veritas.
Project Veritas’ video also shows Chester predicting what’s next for CNN.
According to the video, the network plans to focus “mainly on climate” and will promote “climate change awareness.”
